Description

One partial roll (2001.281.841.1) and one complete roll (2001.281.841.2) of reproduction wallpaper in the "Acton Floral" pattern designed by Binnie B. Wilson for the Waterhouse Collection produced by The Warner Company, Chicago. Wallpaper has an all-over floral pattern of sprigs and sprays with large flowers on leafy stems accented by berries and small stylized flowers on a background pattern of stylized foliage. Roller-printed. The partial roll is printed in red, yellow, blue, black and three greens on a cream ground. The complete roll is wrapped in clear plastic with red stripes and a horse and rider oval cartouche logo. The entire colorway of the complete roll is not known; however; one visible edge has two greens, yellow and orange on a cream ground. The pattern is based on a wallpaper found in a house in Acton, Massachusetts.
