Three partial rolls of reproduction wallpaper in the "Acanthus" pattern designed by Binnie B. Wilson for the Waterhouse Collection manufactured by The Warner Company, Chicago. Wallpaper has a large scale pattern of a grid of squares formed by acanthus leaves. Each square contains a vignette of birds with fruit perched on a horizontal perch with a cascading garland swag. Pattern is based on a block-printed English paper dating from the 1790s that was found in a home in Phillipston, MA. Roller-printed. Three colorways are present: 2001.281.840.1-- Two pinks, two greens, and brown on a blue ground (#23214); 2001.281.840.2 -- Two blue-greens, two yellows, and brown on a khaki green ground (#23213); and 2001.281.840.3 -- Two pinks, green, gray and brown on a gray ground (#23211).
