Description

Rolled fragment of unused gilt-figure wallpaper from the William H. Greeley Homestead, New Gloucester, Maine. Diamond-shaped figures with foliate scrolls and flowers decorating upper points and hanging bell flowers and swags of beads decorating bottom point. Figures are embossed and gilded with gold leaf. The paper is roller-printed with a small-scale dot-and-dash pattern in gray on gray ground. Pattern number "1112" printed in selvedge.
