Description

Unused sample of reproduction wallpaper in the "Crystal Place" pattern (#132486) manufactured by Waterhouse Wallhangings, Inc. Wallpaper has a large-scale floral design with trailing foliage printed in metallic gold on a green ground. Background has dark green flocking. Pattern is based on designs included in the Great Exposition Building in London (1849-1851). Note that another paper by Waterhouse Wallhangings also bears the name "Crystal Palace" but is another pattern. See 2001.281.729.
