Description

Three unused samples of reproduction wallpaper in the "Enoch Frye" pattern by either Katzenbach and Warren or Waterhouse wallhangings. Paper has an all-over stylized Neoclassical pattern of scrolls, medallions and rosettes. Roller-printed. Paper is based on an American block-printed wallpaper dating from 1790-1810 that was found in the Enoch Frye house in North Andover, MA.\n Three colorways are present: 2001.281.738.1 -- Yellow on a dark green ground; 2001.281.738.2 -- White on a red ground; and \n 2001.281.738.3 -- Metallic gold on a cream ground.
