Description

Unused sample of reproduction wallpaper in the "Braintree Stripe" pattern by Katzenbach and Warren. Wallpaper has a pattern of alternating vertical stripes. Stripe patterns include feather plumes, stylized bows, and six-pointed stars in circles. Roller-printed in silver, gold, light blue and light green on a beige ground. Pattern is based on a wallpaper found in the childhood home of General Sylvanus Thayer in South Braintree, MA. Paper was said to have been hung in 1808 to celebrate his graduation from West Point.
