Description

Fragment of striped wallpaper from the study of the Governor's Mansion, Augusta, Maine. Central stripe features eight-pointed star figure flanked by sold colored stripes, then wide stripes in the ground color with a centered stylized vine. Paper is embossed with a fine ribbed texture. Roller-printed in metallic copper, red, tan, brown and blue-green on light beige ground.
