Description

Wallpaper fragment from the home of President Pierce, Hillsboro, New Hampshire. Tile pattern of alternating medallions and foliate sprigs in squares. Pindots outline the squares and fill the corners of the squares with sprigs. Block-printed in green and white on pink ground. Wove paper, partial sheet.
