Description

The Company distributes Blue Jay Shingles made from South Carolina cypress. This type of shingle was used to roof Washington's Mt. Vernon home. Text inside the brochure reads ..."in exactly the same manner that the slaves of the pioneers fashioned them 300 years ago." The back cover shows Pequot House in Salem, Massachusetts, a reproduction built to celebrate the 1930 Tercentenary of the settling of Massachusetts. The reproduction was built by Pequot Mills using Blue Jay Shingles.
