Description

Unused wallpaper fragment from Middleton, Massachusetts. Stylized Neo-cassical style stripe pattern. Primary stripe features an ogee pattern formed by stylized Neo-classical figures, including anthemion and lotus buds, on horizontal banding. Primary stripe is flanked by narrow stripes with Greek key pattern, wide plain stripes and another pair of narrow Greek key stripes. Narrow alternating stripe has horizontal banding pattern. Roller-pinted in yellow, gray, two browns, red, green and blue on gray ground.
