" 'Second Edition' of old paper from original roller. Placed in The Wayside / probably between 1900 and 1908. This differs from the 'First Edition' / because this background turns pinkish-lavendar with exposure / to sunlight. Has softer colors - especially greens - than 1956 / paper - also slightly different pattern in background. / The wooden roller for this paper was destroyed in 1941 Blitz (Engl)" (handwritten)
