Description

Elongated, earthenware box with cover. Dark green transfer-printed chain of interlocking links and band of fluer de lis on both box and cover. Transfer-printed on the interior bottom of the box is a round medallion made of a banner with "Marine" printed on it and laurel and oak branches encircling an anchor with crown over it. The cover has pierced holes and a shell-shaped knop. The box has two interior dividers.\n
