Description

Three fragments of striped wallpaper from the General John Walker House, Burlington, Massachusetts. Sprig, cattail and ribbon stripes block-printed in black and white on blue ground. The wallpaper is printed on blue ingrain paper in partial sheets. Fragment [C] was used to make the reproduction wallpaper pattern "General John Walker" by Waterhouse Wallhangings. See 2001.281.598 for pattern transparency created by Surflex Roller Co. Ltd. 2001.281.598.
