Description

Fragment of unused wallpaper from a house on Wellington Street in South Boston, Massachusetts. Pebble embossed paper with geometric pattern of overlapping or stacked diamonds. Each diamond has a greek key-like element framing a stylized sprig or trefoil. Roller-printed in red, green, black, two browns and light ochre on dark ochre ground. Paper embossed and varnished after printed.
