Description

Unused wallpaper fragment from the Caswell House in Bolton, Massachusetts. Floral stripe paper with pattern of alternating floral vines and geometric designs. Paper is roller-printed in orange, dark maroon, two greens and gray on ungrounded paper. The background color of the stripes appears to be applied with the pattern instead of as ground. Marked "2 Rolls" and "888" in selvedge.
