Description

Black photograph album. 13 gelatin prints, sepia toned, of the interior of two paneled rooms, Providence, Rhode Island. According to Christopher Monkhouse, residence was owned by Donald _____? or D.E.J. Prominently featured is a portrait of a young man in casual attire, placed above an elaborately panelled fireplace with a leather topped fireplace seat in front. Other views of this great room show a coffered ceiling, leather furniture and zebra skinned rugs. Another room, empty of furnishings shows a simple brick fireplace, wood panelling and a beamed ceiling.
