"Springfield Nov 9th 1896/ this piece of linen was spun and woven by/ Polly Stetson of Windsor Mass, flax/raised by her Father of that town/ for her wedding dress she Married Amos/ [?]ord of Windsor Mass. the linen was/ among the first stamped in Boston/ It is about one hundred and twenty/ four years old./ Presented by Mrs. E.E.
