Description

Certificate to Rev. S. B. Swaim for his contribution of "Fifty Dollars From the First Baptist Church Worcester, Mass." making him a Director for Life of the American Tract Society, May 1846. The top half of the certificate has a scene of an angel ministering to a variety of people, including a Native American, an African, an Indian, and a woman. It says underneath the engraving, "And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."
