Description

Advertisement for Best's Improved Insect Destroyer and Invigorator, patented to destroy the nutrients in the sap of the trees and therefore destroy all pests. Benjamin Best assigned his business over to John Ahearn of Baltimore, MD, on July 4, 1868. The advertisement depicts a scene of a farmer with fruit trees on the top of the sheet, and testimonials from farmers who have used the new and improved product on the bottom.
