Description

A handstitched leather box with a floral needlework and red velvet covering. The cover is hinged with simple string fastenings and there is a leather binding around three sides of the box top. The interior textiles have a tiny floral print on a pink ground.

A Christmas tag inside the box reads: To Nina/from Lura (cover). 'Though old and battered I may be,/Santa claus says you asked for me./To him who waits comes everything/So here come I, with re-joic-ing!
