Large silver pin in the shape of a pointed oval with a white guilloche enamel surface. At the center is a coat of arms quartered with rampant lions and castles surmounted by a crown and surrounded by a stylized collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece. This appears to be the coat of arms of Castile y Aragon and the Spanish Netherlands, sometimes referred to as the "Lesser Royal Arms of the Spanish Monarch."
It is unclear why the Tucker family would own a brooch made by an Attleboro, Massachusetts company that depicts the Lesser Royal Arms of the Spanish Monarch. More confusing is why the Watson company would produce such a brooch.
Stamped on reverse top and bottom center pin as well as shield which was molded separately: ""STERLING/ [crown ""W"" lion]""
