Description

Caucasian rug with brown field and ascending flower design. At the top and bottom ends of the rug are three vases from which flowers grow. The vines connect in the center of the rug. The rest of the center field is covered wtth rosettes, botch, and palmettes. The borders consist of double ended hooks and diamonds. The edges are bound in brown. This rug has very little fringe and the surface is very worn.
