Side chair with round finials, turned stiles, and painted crest rail with repeating arches in red and gold; and, above the arches are drapes and tassels painted in gold. There are four spindles and the shapes in the middle are outlined in gold paint. The seat is rush, the legs are turned, and there are six stretchers. The front stretcher has the same painted decoration that is on the crest rail. On the front legs, at the top, are leaves painted on in gold.
