Color lithograph calling on residents of Boston, Massachusetts to save the old John Hancock Mansion from demolition. Lithograph was engraved by John Sartain and published by T. O. H. P. (Thomas Oliver Hazard Perry) "Alphabet" Burnham. The lithograph is dated June 6, 1863. This lithograph represents an early attempt at landmark preservation in Massachusetts
