Description

The statue of John Winthrop, first governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, is seen in the middle of Scollay Square. Looking down the street, one can see many businesses, with Howe's Music straight ahead. The Crawford House hotel can be seen on the right side at the corner of Brattle and Court Streets. The item verso advertises the Florence Shirt Company which is at 6 Bowdoin Square, opposite Revere House.
