Cabistan rug with center panel of three small latched diamonds centered in larger geometric shapes. The outer diamonds are in toothed hexagons, the center diamond is in an eight pointed star. The inner border is a band of multi-colored rosettes, the middle border is a band of multi-colored eight-pointed stars, three sides of the outer border are a band of multi-colored interlocking shapes. The edges are bound in a grayish color. The center panel has a field of blue. The larger shapes on it were at one time red and yellow.
