Description

A fireplace and hearth from the Thompson houuse on Brattle street in Cambridge (now 11 Kennedy Road). The wall the fireplace is on is wood paneled and includes a carved mantel. On the mantel are two gas lamps and candlesticks; above it there is a still live of flowers. The harth is made of brick in a herring bone pattern.
