Description

The 1895 Bromley map gives the owner as Francis J. Ward. A person by that name was president of the N. Ward Co., a glue manufacturing concern, and member of the City Council. The house is two stories high and has an entrance with two doors. A picket fence surrounds the property with vines covering part of the facade. A sign for Matthew J. Nolan's auto trimmer and harness business, probably at 115 Ward Street, is to the right in the image. A smokestack rises behind the sign.
