From the Bostonian Society catalog record: Street-level view northeast of (left to right) 37-39 Somerset Street, located between Allston Street to the south-southeast and Howard Street to the north-northwest. The front façades of the dwellings face west-southwest. 35 Somerset Street lines the right side of the photograph. 37 Howard Street, located at the far north end of Somerset Street, is located along the lower-left side of the photograph. Children gather on the sidewalk between 33 and 37 Somerset Street. A wagon is parked in front of 37 Howard Street. 39 Somerset Street occupied by Daniel Webster (1819-1822), Abbott Lawrence, Rev. Ephraine Peabody, William Ropes, Nathanial Bowditch and Uriah Cotting.
