Muted salmon colored knit shawl with a boat-shape rectangle with sides slated outward and upward and tassels around three sides. The inside of the shawl has evenly spaced horizontal ribs from end to end. The backsides of the rectangular pockets are exposed. The tassels are knotted at the base and hang freely. The stitching around the pockets and three sides is the same color and of a thicker cord. The top shows remnants of a decorative finished edge using threads of white and other salmon rose colors. The outside has inverted knitting creating horizontal stripes that are lower than the rest of the knitting. These correspond to the ribbing on the inside of the shawl. The two rectangular pockets on both top corners are visible. The tops of the pockets are sewn shut with a thick white cotton thread.
