Description

Oil painting of a kitchen interior in Kennebunkport, ME. Painting depicts cabin interior looking out the open door towards the ocean. Room contains a large brick fireplace, kitchen implements, and two chairs (one windsor, one ladderback). A black cat lies on the hearth in front of the lit fire. Through the open door and window some geese, a dirt path, and a house can be seen in the distance. Framed in a deep, gilt frame with foliate motif.
