Framed lithograph of a whale fishery. There are four ships in view and fourteen longboats. The ships are surrounded by ice and in the left background is a shipwreck on the ice. There are walruses, whales, seals and narwhales in the lower left corner. Numerous figures are pictured hunting, killing and harvesting whales and seals.
