Floral festoons and smaller festoons of cord and tassels hang from arches decorated with dots, medallions and fringe on a background of white pindots. Block printed in green, white and pink with mica on a light blue ground. A different, more narrow border paper covers the outer rim of the trunk lid. This paper has a floral vine pattern in which large blooms with foliage are joined by a woody vine. Behind the flowers are vertical lines and above them a band of bead and reel figures in imitation of architectural molding.
