Series I, Papers of Stephen Little (1719-1793), 1746-1802, undated, includes letters sent during the American Revolution; a list of accounts (1773); a undated draft of a will; a quitclaim judgment against Stephen Little; and contracts for land sales and purchases. The series is arranged alphabetically in three subseries according to material type.

Little, Stephen, 1719-1793 (Correspondent)
Stephen Little was born May 19, 1719 and died August 30, 1793. His first wife was Judith and second was Mary (1723-1798). He was one of the grantees of Newbury, Vermont, in 1763 and also owned lands in Bath and Hampstead, New Hampshire and in Cumberland and Lincoln counties, Maine. He was a representative to the legislature in 1776 and probably held other town offices. He was a man of sterling integrity, a prominent member and deacon of Dr. Spring's church at Newburyport.
