Description

Round white clear-glazed earthenware jardinere (a) with four short legs, openwork sides, and a removable, plain earthenware inner container (B). Open sides composed of thin vertical "bars." Sides taper to narrow base. Bars decorated with swags of green-glazed rosettes and leaves with gold bows at tops of swags. Base impressed with indistinct decroative shield inside oval. B) Round, plain inner container iwth tapered sides. Clay is mottled colors from white to tan.
