Description

A chalk drawing of Anna Phillips, seated and looking off to the viewer's left side. Her hair is pulled up; she wears a dress with a high collar and she has her hands folded on her lap. The paper substrate is gray, which contrasts with the black and white chalk drawing medium. The frame is brown with vinelike lines on down the sides and leaflike designs in the four corners.
