Five figures in foreground with three horses, one donkey, and numerous dogs. Gentleman being served fruit at right while speaking to woman mounted sidesaddle. Man adjusting saddle at center, man feeding dog on left. Behind left figure is huge dressed stone wall with enormous ewer at end on top. Two peacocks on wall. Trees fill background. Probably pre-hunt scene: a long barrel flintlock type rifle in right lower corner. Signature not readily apparent. Frame: Corners not mitred at back. Elaborate gilt with six moldings.
