Description

"ROBINSON CRUSOE carrying away on his RAFT the most useful Articles of the WRECK./ For a mile, or thereabouts, my Raft went very well, only I found it drive a little distant from the place where I had landed before." Scene of Crusoe on raft, rowing away from wreck; mountain landscape in rear. Engraving later hand-colored in shades of green, red, yellow; gilt wood frame.
