Description

"ROBINSON CRUSOE, Threat'ning to shoot MULEY, if he approached the BOAT./ Fetching one of the Fowling Pieces I presented it at him and told him I had done him no hurt, and if he would quiet, I would do him none." Scene of Crusoe and companion sailing; Crusoe holds raised shotgun at shipwrecked "MULEY"; land w/ fort in distance. Engraving later hand-colored in shades of pink, blue, green; wood frame with applied gilt.
