Description

Sheraton style. Square back divided by two tapered and beaded slats into three open sections. The middle section, which rises slightly higher than the surrounding two, and through the crest rail, is circumscribed by an arch, and w/ swagged curtains and Prince of Wales feathers at top. Curving rear legs w/ straight tapered front legs. Serpentine seat rail, covered w/ a modern vinyl slip, w/ tacking at lower edge. 1933.1509J is only one to have seat rails tenoned through back legs.
