Description

Though largely ignored in studies of the past, time capsules present us with a clearer voice from, and greater view of, the past than do randomly excavated objects. A capsule dug up on the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, campus in 1991 speaks volumes. In the search for the capsule, the authors found themselves collectively trying to reconnect to the past while developing the future of farming and agriculture.
