Description

A=Bodice; B=Skirt. Black silk satin. A=Bodice - squared, drawstring neckline; cap sleeves w/ beadwork applique of butterfly motif at shoulder. Stomacher panel at center front of black net w/ same appliqued butterflies (but larger) & spangles; boned; pointed waist (front & back) w/ black satin piping. Lined w/ black taffeta; hook & eye center front closure; hooks at back to support skirt. B=Skirt - matching; smooth front w/ darts; topstitched & smooth from waist through hips along gored seams w/ pleats below & all around skirt at seams. Slight train; pocket in lining at back; fully lined w/ taffeta; pleated taffeta dust ruffle; hook & eye closure at center back.
