Description

A=Bodice; B=Skirt. Pale pink satin ground w/ floral sprays in cream & rose. A=Bodice - drawstring neckline w/ tulle ruffle (w/ drawstring); trimmed w/ pale pink satin band w/ tucks; same satin trim; sleeveless armscye. Pale pink satin bow at shoulders; sharp point at front; squared extended back; piped waist; boned; darts. Lined w/ cream silk twill; handstitched eyes at center back w/ silk cord for laced closure; pouf or ruched rosette at lower back. Woven waistband w/ hook & eye. B=Skirt - front of skirt is pale pink satin w/ draped & knotted band at hip; box pleats at hem; back, train, & waistband of same floral lampas as bodice. Pleats & box pleats at back; lining of brown taffeta has 4 casings which had elastic (elastic now missing) for gathering/bustle at back. Train lined w/ cambric; dust ruffle of buckram is pleated & trimmed w/ lace.
