Rectangular box with tacked joins. Front side has a branded or incised mark of a black eagle holding a banner. The inside lip has an indented flange for the lid to slide open and shut.
The banner reads: WINCHESTERS ROSE SOAP. On the box in black is a diamond and two initials: ""L"" (could be the British pound symbol too) and a ""D"".
