Description

.8AB) Deep blue color with well defined borders. Highly domed cover with silvered replacement finial. Shape and design as in .5AB) but not identical borders. Set) White clay body with bluish-cast white glaze; Canton pattern underglaze blue painted decoration consisting of cross hatched, striped, star and scalloped border bands; central or overall design of "willow" pattern consisting of pagoda house at proper right with trees extending to center, bridge in foreground, islands at left and/or rear and small boats; some with pine trees and birds at top half.
