A=Bodice; B=Skirt. Blue, brown & cream pinstriped silk twill. Bodice (A) standing band collar w/ cream silk liner; false lapels; brown silk twill pleated placket covers center button closure (18 buttons). Peplum pointed front & back w/ pleats lined w/ brown silk; long fitted sleeves w/ turned back cuffs trimmed w/ brown silk ruching & white liner (same as at collar). Boned; lined w/ brown striped ticking; woven waistband w/ hook & eye. Skirt (B) pulled up & pleated at sides to reveal underskirt; underskirt is poufed/ bustled at back. Has pleated dust ruffle; pocket on right side; lined w/ brown cotton; boned bar across back & cotton tape tie to hold bustle style. Hem lined w/ windowpane buckram & black wool; bound w/ green wool tape.
