Description

13) Soup dish. A circular shallow bowl with no defined well and a foot ring. Cross hatch border with a gilt edge. Birds and no bridge in a willow pattern. Set) White clay body with bluish-white glaze; Nanking style underglaze blue painted border design consisting of spearhead border with cross hatch or diagonal line banding; central or overall design of various versions of "Willow" pattern consisting of pagoda house at proper right (w/ or w/o people), trees in center, some with bridges, birds or boats.
