Earring and Pendant

Collection Type

  • Jewelry

This set of paste jewelry currently consists of an earring and pendant, both set with a round cut paste surrounded by five teardrop cut pastes alternating with clusters of three smaller round pastes set in a pinchbeck metal frame. The pendant was once the second earring of the set. It was subsequently converted by removing the hinged wire and passing a jump ring through the top paste setting once the paste was removed. The remaining earring retains its eighteenth-century hinged loop back.
