This gold ring with pierced scrollwork shoulders consists of an old mine cut diamond surrounded by nine smaller old mine cut diamonds set in a silver-topped rosette gold mount.
"Mementos: Jewelry of Life and Love from Historic New England": Thomas Robison gave this diamond ring to Elizabeth Cartwright when they married. Their daughter Hannah, her daughter Elizabeth, and then her nephew Edward, each inherited and inscribed birth or death dates on this family jewel.
