"Mementos: Jewelry of Life and Love from Historic New England": Marguerite Woodworth married Henry Wriston in 1947 with this platinum and sapphire ring by Boston jeweler Edward Everett Oakes. The companion engagement ring is an elegant gold daisy chain, most likely a play on the owner's name, as marguerite is a variety of daisy.
